Alicia makes insurance for freelancers accessible, at any time. We do this by creating tailor-made simple insurance products from the ground-up. We sell those through digital platforms that the ever growing population of freelancers use to find work, manage their finances and more. Our aim is to help these platforms become strong brands and provide freelancers a hassle-free way of getting insured.

As part of our Customer Success team, you will be the front person when it comes to customer contact through the phone, email or chat. You and your fellow Customer Success colleagues will work closely with your colleagues from the Product team in making sure we can help whoever reaches out to us. You will be able to develop your professional skills and knowledge of digital insurance at lightning speed at Alicia. So if you are eager to learn, you have recently graduated your bachelors or just started working and have an interest in finance or insurtechs, we might just be a perfect match.

Job requirements

What you will be doing.

  • You will have direct contact with (potential) clients through phone, email and chat, and help them with their insurance and questions.

  • You will frequently contact our risk carriers about underwriting questions and work with them to find solutions for our clients’ problems and questions.

  • You will be the underwriter for all our insurance products and will help build a healthy portfolio.

  • You will monitor fraud signals and will do all the necessary KYC checks.

What you have.

  • Helping customers is something that motivates you deeply. That being said, you understand that ‘we can’t help you’ can be a very helpful answer as well. Timing and clarity are key!

  • You have experience with customer contact, for example through a side job, or an internship.

  • You are flexible and thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment.

  • You possess a higher education degree (HBO bachelor).

  • You will acquire your WFT Zakelijk license in the first couple of weeks.

  • You are tech-savvy and customer-focused to your core.

  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English.

Our recruitment process in summary.
