At Alicia we are rebuilding insurance for workers from the ground up. That means that we simplify everything to the bone with the aim to satisfy our distribution partners and their workers / clients, with our mission to have extremely simple and fast digital customer flows in mind. In order to be able to do this, the Product Manager - Digital Insurance plays a key role. You will build insurance products from the ground up, with the purpose to digitize as well as ensure we get to the right data for understanding pricing and risks. You also think through if we can get data from elsewhere, or ask the customer a question in an online flow. You work closely with the Product Owner and the Partner Manager.

Job requirements

What you wil be doing.

  • You will build or rebuild existing insurance products that satisfy the needs (protection gaps) of our distribution partners and their clients
  • You will ensure our products are as simple as they can be
  • You will develop our products in close co-operation with our risk carriers and ensure all products comply with our MGA licenses
  • You will be in close contact with our Customer Success Center to understand digital exceptions and will translate these into product improvements
  • You will act as the voice of our product within our organization, e.g. you will guard the quality of our product in the backlog prioritization meetings


What you have.

  • You have 3-5 years experience working in accepting or building insurance products for the casualty or property business market
  • You have the necessary WFT licenses to work with casual and property types of products
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English
  • You possess a higher education degree (HBO/WO)
  • You are a quick learner
  • You never accept the status quo
  • You have experience working in a scale-up environment
  • You are able to easily make decisions on your own

Our recruitment process in summary.
