We serve our distribution partners with best in class digital customer journeys, embedded in their desired tech and flow. And with desired tailor made insurance solutions. This requires that we can offer several integration methods (API's, web apps) and offer the right tailor made product that fulfill the needs of our distribution partner and their customers. Alicia has a state-of-the-art super modern tech stack. Everything is possible. But we need to prioritise and ensure that we build stuff that our distribution partners really need. The Product Owner is crucial in this process, and works with the Partner Manager to understand what needs are arising as seen from the Partner perspective. The Product Owner also works with the Product Manager - Digital Insurance to understand what is coming from a product perspective. The Product Owner balances all interests and really owns the backlog.

Job requirements

What you will be doing.

  • You will build your team from the ground up
  • With your team you will build digital channels, products and features
  • You will improve the Alicia Tech Stack continuously
  • You will plan and prioritize the backlog in conjunction with others
  • You will monitor progress and feasibility of backlog items and desires
  • You advise the Management Team on projects, client cases and improvements to features and distribution partners
  • You are a key sparring partner of the CTO in defining the future direction of the Alicia Tech Stack


What you have.

  • 3-5 years experience as Product Owner in a digital scale-up environment. This can be in a scale-up, or a corporate venture environment
  • You live lean start-up, agile, scrum
  • You understand what it takes to get from A to B to C, and understand the concept of ' digestible chunks' for your team
  • You speak Dutch and English
  • You have higher education (HBO / WO)
